Brief introduction of oil refinery equipment

1)Oil refining is according to the different usage and requirements, utilizing the physical methods and chemical processes to get rid of the harmful impurities and needless substance in the crmustude oil, getting standard oil.

(2)It is suitable for refining various crude vegetable oil, such as sunflower seed oil, tea seed oil,groundnut oil, cottonseed oil, palm oil, rice bran oil, soybean oil, corn oil and palm oil, etc.

Main process :

1,Degumming: It means using physical, chemical, or physical and chemical ways to remove phospholipid. If the phospholipid content is high. When the oil is heated, it will take foam, smoke, peculiar smell, and phospholipids appear burnt brown color at high temperature. Degumming is based on the principle that phospholipid and portion of the protein oil-soluble in the waste water state, but not oil-soluble after form a hydrate with water, hot water or steam is added to crude oil, heat oil and stirred at a temperature of 50 oC,then rested stratification, separating the aqueous phase, it can remove phospholipids and some protein.

2, Deacidification: FFA affects the stability and taste of oil, so can remove free fatty acid by adding alkali for neutralization, called deacidification, also called alkali refining.

3, Bleaching: The crude oil contains chlorophyll, carotenoids and other pigments, chlorophyll is a photosensitive agent, which can affect oil stability, and other pigments affect the oil appearance, can be removed by absorption aids.

4, Deodorization :The purpose of Deodorizing Vegetable Oils is to remove odor substances. The oil is subjected to steam distillation under high temperature and vacuum to evaporate all odor substances. The resulting deodorized oil is almost bland and tasteless.
