Palm oil is pressed from palm fruit on oil palm trees. The FFB and nuts produce palm oil and palm kernel oil, respectively. The traditional concept of palm oil only contains the former. Palm oil is refined and fractionated to provide products with different melting points, which are widely used in the food and beverage industry, the food industry and the oleochemical industry. Southeast Asia and Africa, as the main producing areas of palm oil, account for about 88% of the world’s total palm oil production. Indonesia, Malaysia and Nigeria are the world’s top three producers. At present, China has become the world’s largest importer of palm oil. Palm oil consumption is about 6 million tons per year, accounting for 20% of the total market.

The process of palm oil making production line:

RECEPTION STATION

The truck carrying the fresh palm fruit is weighed by the weighbridge and then travels to the receiving station. The fruit enters the fruit cage through the unloading slope and is transported by the fruit cage to the sterilizing tank for germination.

Among them, the receiving station adopts steel structure and concrete structure, which can save equipment cost and construction cost; when the material is unloaded, it is controlled by hydraulic control system to realize continuous operation.

STERILIZATION STATION

Sterilizing process is one of key processes, using direct steam to sterilize for 90-120minutes and controling temperature about 145℃ , thus it is easy to shed fruit, inhibit the activity of enzyme, prevent fruit from rancidity, ensure the quality of crude oil, and create good conditions for threshing.

THRESHING STATION

Thresher is rotated through drum and scraper with the speed of 23RPM and separate fruit from empty bunch. The internal shaft adopts forging forming and do modulation processing which are for long service life. Inside equipped with special threshing beating device and spiral structure, which threshes fruits more complete and greatly reduce oil loss in empty bunch.

DIGESTING STATION

The digester inside is equipped with blades and stirring structure, which can break fruits further. Through direct steam for digesting, the temperature and moisture of fruits can be conditioned, so that the fruit is easier to be pressed and increase oil output.

PRESSING STATION

The digested fruits enter into twin-screw presser for squeezing. The oil presser adopts twin-screw structure to get oil from palm fruits,and adjust pressure in barrel and cake thickness via hydraulic system, greatly increase oil yield and maximumly reduce nut crushed rate.

CLARIFICATION STATION

The squeezed crude oil enters into sand trap tank via oil gutter for sediment and removal of other solid impurities. After that,flowing into crude oil vibrating screen for further removal of sludge and other fine solid impurities, finally flow into crude oil tank for temporary storage. KERNEL RECOVERY STATION

1. You can get fiber nut mixture after pressing the fruit, the mixture will go into penumatic fiber transport system through cake breaker conveyor for separation. After separation,the fiber will be transported into boiler house for heating fuel through depericaper column,ducting and fiber cyclone.

2. The nut will be separated by nut polishing drum,penumatic nut transport system and then go into nut grading screen for grading. After grading,and then stored in nut hopper.

3. The nut will be crushed into shell kernel mixture by nut ripple mill, then transported to mixture separating system for two stage separation via conveyor and elevator. The separated kernel is transported to the warehouse for drying and dehydration through wet kernel elevator, conveyor and distribution conveyor, and then transported to the storage warehouse for storage after reaching safe-moisture level. The non-separated shell kernel mixture will be separated further by claybath.
